The event titled “Skin–Heart–Voice–Mind: The Emotional Turn in Cognitive Translation Studies” was successfully held on May 18, 2026, at the Blue Hall, Main Campus of Çankaya University.
Organized by the Department of Translation and Interpreting at Çankaya University, the event featured Doç. Dr. Alper Kumcu from Hacettepe University as the guest speaker. The talk explored not only the cognitive dimensions of translation but also its emotional and embodied aspects, offering an interdisciplinary perspective on cognitive translation studies.
